Bondi Sands commissioned Kindred Comms to conceptualise and produce an out-of-doors film and photography campaign for a Waterloo Station takeover, Summer 2020.
The narrative focused on the ups and downs of a wet British summer. Kindred proposed the creation of a stylised composite world, shooting model plates in studio and creating backdrops from a montage of typical British scenes captured across the UK.
Kindred designed and produced the campaign start to finish, from concept to casting, styling, film and photography production, animation and graphics.
All assets were versioned for display on billboards, bus stops, walkways and video screens throughout Waterloo station, one of London’s busiest terminals.
Due to global events, summer 2020 didn’t really happen. This was probably for the best as the campaign was designed around bad weather and ironically 2020 was one of the driest and hottest on record. Watch this space for updates on the 2021 launch.
